ARTIST STATMENT

I have wandered the United States most of my life but now love calling the Pacific Northwest my home. As a medium, glass has captivated my interest for quite some time, but it wasn’t until late 2019 I was introduced to off-hand glass blowing in Vancouver, Washington at Firehouse Glass.

Years later this passion has helped me appreciate a completely new lifestyle as an artist and disciplined craftsman in a medium that demands technique. I am always striving to continue my education, perfect skills, and embrace inspiration and creativity as much as possible. In late 2022 I was honored to attend Pilchuck Glass School and participate monthly in the Vancouver Art Walk, while working in multiple studios – including Esque Studios, Firehouse, and Local Art Glass. I look forward to being ever more involved in the community and experiencing joy through the influence of my work.
